Duties: Draft and prosecute patent applications for leading technology companies in the electrical, mechanical, and software sectors. Handle all phases of patent prosecution, from preparation to filing, and managing client portfolios. Counsel clients directly, offering insights into patent strategies and business development. Collaborate with a team of professionals to optimize patent processes and ensure a high standard of work. Engage in client interaction, delivering exceptional service and fostering positive relationships. Leverage proprietary automation software to enhance efficiency in patent-related tasks. Continuously stay updated on advancements in 5G and wireless technologies to provide expert counsel. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in patent prosecution, particularly in electrical, mechanical, or software technologies. Experience in 5G wireless technologies is highly preferred. USPTO registration is required. Former Examiner experience is a plus. Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and software with minimal training. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality. Exceptional writing and communication skills. Proactive, team-oriented, and client-focused attitude. Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field. Certifications: USPTO registration (mandatory). Skills: Proficiency in patent prosecution processes and best practices. In-depth understanding of patent laws and regulations, especially in the tech sector. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and client management skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote work setting. Positive, collaborative, and client-centric approach.
